Akim of NKR met with residents of “cut off village” by high water

Akim of North Kazakhstan region Gauez Nurmukhambetov met with residents of the village of Pribrezhnoye, which is surrounded by large waters. The head of the region decided to support the villagers during a difficult period and spoke about government assistance to those affected by the flood.

The akim of the region answered questions from residents in detail and explained the rules for receiving assistance. The local akimat will begin accepting applications from residents for damage compensation. For this purpose, Starlink satellite Internet was installed at the evacuation point.

In the first days of the flood, some residents were evacuated from the village by helicopter.

“The village lives in isolation, so the residents need to be provided with essential products and medicines. I instructed the Akim of the Kyzylzhar district to supply the residents with everything they need and promptly respond to their requests,” the head of the region wrote on social networks.
