Strengthening work on dams is underway in NKR

Today, Akim of North Kazakhstan region Gauez Nurmukhambetov checked the condition of dams in the regional center and Kyzylzhar district. The head of the region inspected the dams along Ushcheva Street, in the village of Kozhevennyi, in the villages of Teplichnoye and Pribrezhnoye, and the embankment in the village of Zarechnoye.

“The peak of the flood is still ahead. Reinforcement work on the dams is now underway. Responsible services need to conduct information work with the population, evacuation points are ready for deployment,” the akim of the region wrote on social networks.
