North Kazakhstanis celebrate Nauryz Meiramy

Today the entire North Kazakhstan region celebrates Nauryz. Massive festive celebrations took place on the main square of the regional center. This became the key event of Nauryznama, which lasts 10 days.

On the square, Akim of North Kazakhstan region Gauez Nurmukhambetov congratulated the people of North Kazakhstan on the new year, wished them all the best, happiness and prosperity. The national holiday was decorated with themed yurts, where residents and guests were able to get acquainted with the customs and culture of our people.

The head of the region entered the yurts, which were dedicated to the Kazakh language and folk art. At the master class, children with special needs showed their creativity. Guests of the holiday looked at the life of the Kazakh people in the ethno-auyl, which was organized by our kandas who arrived from other regions and countries. A festive concert and sports games became the highlight of Nauryz.

“A large number of people came to the festivities. This shows and proves that Nauryz is a national holiday, a symbol of unity and cohesion,” the head of the region wrote on social networks.
