Today, the head of the region, Gauez Nurmukhambetov, met with residents of the regional center, plans for the development of Petropavl were announced, and the townspeople raised pressing issues. The akim of the region shared plans for providing housing, landscaping, road repairs and updating buses.
🔹️The current topic is the housing issue. This year in Petropavl they are launching a preferential mortgage “Kyzylzhar Zhastary” for young families who work in the fields of healthcare, veterinary medicine, culture, sports, social protection, civil defense and energy. Supporting youth is always the focus of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s attention. “There is demand, people are waiting, funds are provided,” the head of the region noted.
🔹️The improvement work will continue. There are 593 courtyards in the city, half of which require renovation. This year, repairs will be carried out in 60 yards. In 5 years, all 260 courtyard areas will be covered. There will also be 7 car parks and 20 insulated stops throughout the city.
🔹️As part of the social responsibility of business, public private squares will be created. This initiative was supported and financed by our businessmen. Among them: Gennadiy Zenchenko, Dmitriy Sharapayev, Sevkazenergo, Kyzylzhar Su and Alageum Electric enterprises and others.
🔹️Comprehensive work to improve the road network will continue. It is no secret that not all streets in the regional center are paved. “We will shift the emphasis from the center to the outskirts of the city. I instructed the akim of Petropavl to switch the roads from gravel to asphalt within 5 years. This year, 44 streets will be repaired, of which 39 have never had asphalt,” the akim of the North Kazakhstan region added.
🔹️Citizens are also concerned about the state of public transport. There are now 115 new buses running around the city. There are routes where old buses travel. In the second half of the year, carriers plan to purchase 30 new buses.
“We took note of all the issues raised at the meeting. The proposals of the townspeople will become a guideline for us for the further development of the regional center,” the akim of the region summed up.
