North Kazakhstan region entered the group of regions ahead of the pace of economic development

According to the results of 5 months of 2020, North Kazakhstan region showed a positive dynamics of economic growth.

Gross agricultural output increased by 2.5%. Growth was achieved in livestock production due to the full capacity of the new seven dairy farms and meat production. This year, the construction of another 10 modern complexes has begun.

Industry grew by 106.9%. Manufacturing showed growth. The volume of engineering products rose immediately by 40.8%.

The work of «ZIKSTO» plant was restored. Following the results of 5 months, products worth 5 billion tenge were produced with a total portfolio of orders of 15 billion tenge. The plant is ready to produce 2 thousand platforms worth 40 billion tenge.

70 billion tenge of investments were attracted to the region. This is 14% more than last year.

The implementation of 560 infrastructure projects allowed to increase the volume of construction work by 8%. They commissioned 14% more housing. For 2 years, 32 multi-storey buildings will be commissioned in the regional center. 800 houses will be built in the countryside this year.

Since the beginning of the year, about 12 thousand people have been employed in the region
