Pilot project on telemedicine for residents of remote villages was implemented in NKR

Today in the Regional Hospital there was a presentation of a telemedicine pilot project with the participation of the Minister of Healthcare Azhar Giniyat, Akim of NKR Gauez Nurmukhambetov and France Ambassador Didier Canesse.

Thanks to cooperation with the French company C3Medical, the first telemedicine project was implemented in Kazakhstan. In the regional adults and children's hospitals and medical facilities of remote areas of SO, 16 telemedicine complexes "Limstar" were installed.

The peculiarity of this technology is that doctors will remotely advise and examine the patient using connected medical sensors. These are such directions as cardiology, gynecology, ultrasound, ENT, dermatology and ophthalmology.

“Thanks to this, the time to make decisions without the departure of the villagers in the regional center will be reduced, and the reception of narrow specialists will become even more accessible,” the head of the region wrote in social networks.
