Rehabilitation center for children is expected to open in NKR

An early intervention center will recently open in Petropavl on the basis of a perinatal center. The new center was visited by Akim of the region Gauez Nurmukhambetov. Funds were allocated from the budget for the overhaul of the center, with the support of Samuryk-Kazyna JSC, the Kazakhstan Khalkyna and Kamkorlyk foundations, and the necessary equipment was purchased.

Here, children under 3 years old with various pathologies will undergo rehabilitation using the latest technologies. The center has 15 beds for rehabilitation and rehabilitation treatment. Every year, 360 children will undergo rehabilitation at the day hospital.

Each child will have their own individual plan. Assistance will be provided by neurologists, rehabilitation specialists, pediatricians, neurologists, occupational therapists, psychologists, physical therapy instructors, speech pathologists and speech therapists.

In addition, as part of the Kamkorlyk initiative, it is planned to modernize the rehabilitation center of the regional children's hospital. The implementation of the project will make it possible to adapt the environment for people with special needs and increase the availability of rehabilitation services.
