Sergey Kan and Gauez Nurmukhambetov discussed issue of modernizing power grids

Akim of North Kazakhstan region Gauez Nurmukhambetov met with shareholder of the CAEPCO group of companies Sergey Kan. During the meeting, both parties discussed the progress of the heating season and the plans of SEVKAZENERGO JSC for the repair campaign and investment program for 2024.

In order to reduce wear and tear and ensure uninterrupted power supply for 90 facilities in 15 villages of the region, a joint program to modernize networks is being developed. A schedule for the construction of a new chimney has also been agreed upon. As Sergey Kan noted, the company decided to implement an investment project for the construction of a new boiler unit at CHPP-2. Work will start this year.
