Dear North Kazakhstanis!

Today, the situation in the region remains under control. At the perimeter of the region, roadblocks are preserved. In total, 49 cases of coronavirus infection were registered in the region, of which 33 people recovered. All the latest cases are imported from abroad. It should be noted that the smallest number of cases in the country was recorded in our region. This is the result of strict quarantine and discipline of the residents themselves. ⠀

We are gradually softening the quarantine regime. In the region, life has almost returned to its previous rhythm. System-forming enterprises and organizations did not stop their activities. During quarantine, another 79 thousand people went to work.

All enterprises and public places must comply with quarantine requirements and adhere to sanitary standards. Specialists carry out control checks on an ongoing basis. Over the past 2 weeks, over 2 thousand objects have been checked, 227 violations have been identified in some stores, cafes and hairdressers. These are the “Pilaf Center” cafe, “Motomir”, “Mars”, “Saltanat” shops and “Dana” hairdresser. There are the same violations everywhere: staff and visitors without masks, sellers do not have gloves, there is no markup for social distance, customers come without an appointment. If these violations are not resolved, these facilities will be closed for quarantine by court order.

This also applies to contractors at construction sites. Construction and repair work is underway in the region. A large number of workers were involved, including from other regions. Contractors in addition to quality repairs and timely delivery of the facility, you need to think about the safety of workers. The task of government agencies is to monitor and control.

Today, cinemas, food courts and children’s play areas at shopping and entertainment centers, night clubs, computer clubs and hookahs are temporarily closed. I ask service workers to understand the current situation. Thank you for your patience.

The situation in the border regions of a neighboring country is turbulent. Now, the Russian Federation is among the three in terms of the number of cases. North Kazakhstani epidemiologists and border guards continue to tighten control at the Kazakh-Russian border. Up to 350 people pass through checkpoints daily. They are all our citizens: students and shift workers. All arriving are tested for coronavirus. ⠀

Citizens who cross the border on foot are sent to a quarantine hospital. In total, up to 1 thousand PCR tests are carried out daily in the region to detect coronavirus. All these actions allow not spreading the virus throughout the region and throughout Kazakhstan. We can say that North Kazakhstan region takes the brunt.

Dear fellow countrymen!

Although the borders of the region are closed, the danger of spread and infection is still high. In the country, there is an increase in cases of illness. Therefore, we urge residents to be responsible. Keep social distance and wear masks, do not forget about personal hygiene. I want to remind you that if the situation worsens, we will be forced to tighten the quarantine regime. No one is interested in this. We hope for the awareness of citizens.
