Minister of Transport and Akim of NKR discussed issues of road industry

Today, the Minister of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Marat Karabayev, visited the region. A meeting was held in the regional Akimat with the participation of the Head of the Ministry and the Akim of the North Kazakhstan region on the development of the road industry.

Government agencies are faced with the joint task of implementing the instructions of the Head of State to bring the share of republican roads in standard condition to 100% and local roads to 95%.

At the meeting, the head of the region, Gauez Nurmukhambetov, emphasized that it is necessary to repair the republican roads “Zhezkazgan-Petropavl” on the Sergeyevka-Druzhba section and Kokshetau-Omsk on the Dauit-Kishkenekol section. Roads in the resort area require special attention.

It is also planned to build a bridge over the Ishim River and a bypass road in the regional center. In addition, the regional leadership is interested in maintaining the operation of the Talgo train on the Petropavl-Almaty route.

Minister of Transport Marat Karabayev and Akim of North Kazakhstan region Gauez Nurmukhambetov signed a joint protocol, which reflected the above-mentioned problems and ways to solve them.
