Akim of NKR visited site of the fire in Smirnovo

Akim of the region Gauez Nurmukhambetov visited the site of a fire in a two-story house in the village of Smirnovo, Akkaiyn district, where a gas-air mixture erupted. The fire has been extinguished. The injured resident of the house was hospitalized in the district hospital, then transported to a multidisciplinary city hospital.

“Unfortunately, the fire claimed the life of one person. I express my deepest condolences to the family and friends. The affected family will be provided with all the necessary assistance,” the head of the region wrote on social networks.

With the arrival of winter, the issue of fire safety in residential buildings becomes acute.

“This morning I held a conference call with the akims of the districts and the city, where I once again emphasized the importance of prevention and compliance with all fire safety rules. I also instructed to check residential buildings and facilities for the presence of gas cylinders, conduct explanatory work with the population, and plan connection work for the next year district high-rise buildings to heat supply,” the Akim of the North Kazakhstan region added.
