Republic Day celebrated in NKR

A solemn meeting dedicated to Republic Day was held in the North Kazakhstan region. Akim of the region Gauez Nurmukhambetov congratulated those gathered on the National Day.

“On October 25, 1990, the Declaration of State Sovereignty of our country was adopted, which became the country’s first step on the path to independence. More than thirty years ago, the people of Kazakhstan chose the path of building an independent state, fulfilling the centuries-old dream of their ancestors about independent development and a prosperous future for future generations. It was on this day that a solid foundation was laid on which we are now building our state,” the head of the region said.

During the ceremonial meeting, an award ceremony took place. On behalf of the Head of State, the akim of the region presented the orders “Parasat”, “Kurmet”, III degree “Yenbek Danky”, “Yerligi Ushin”, medals “Yeren Yenbegi Ushin”, “Shapagat” and a diploma of the Republic of Kazakhstan to North Kazakhstanis who made a significant contribution to the development country and region.   

After the meeting there was a festive concert.
