More than half of grain harvest harvested in NKR

This year, according to North Kazakhstan region, harvesting of grain and leguminous crops is carried out on an area of 3.2 million hectares.

To date, 1.8 million hectares or 53% have been harvested, 1.9 million tons have been threshed.

It should be noted that this year the harvesting campaign in the northern regions of the country is taking place in difficult conditions. Since the beginning of September, 45 mm of precipitation has already fallen, or 158% of the monthly norm.

317 grain dryers have been launched in the region, which allow drying 240 thousand tons per day. The region has a sufficient number of grain storage tanks with a capacity of 6.9 million tons.
