Constitution Day celebrated

A solemn meeting dedicated to the Day of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in the Kazakh Music and Drama Theater. Akim of the region Aidarbek Saparov congratulated the participants on the holiday.

“Relying on the Constitution, our country has confidently passed through difficult trials, while maintaining its integrity. The Constitution has been and remains the key to the further development of Kazakhstan. At the same time, the Basic Law must be improved in accordance with the challenges of the time and the demands of society. That is why last year a nationwide referendum on amendments to the Constitution was held in our country. The changes approved by the Kazakhs made it possible to determine the vector for the further development of our country,” the head of the region noted.

On the festive day, a number of North Kazakhstan citizens were awarded certificates of honor and letters of thanks, as well as pendants “Altyn alka and Kumis alka”. A festive concert followed.
