The movement of vehicles will completely stop tonight. All suburban bus services will be suspended. City public transport completely stops its work.

Enterprises and organizations of all forms of ownership should suspend their activities, except for state bodies, akimats, hospitals, law enforcement agencies, utilities and other facilities for ensuring the city’s vital functions.

«Earlier, part of the civil servants was transferred to the remote mode of operation. This work will be strengthened. Today, I have instructed the heads of state agencies to transfer workers to the maximum remote mode of operation», — Kumar Aksakalov said.

Grocery stores, supermarkets and pharmacies will be open from 10.00 to 18.00 hours.

It is forbidden for residents to leave apartments and houses, with the exception of a grocery store, pharmacy within walking distance and to work. In other cases, the police will fine you on the street for 26 thousand tenge or arrest for 5 days.

Elderly people over 65 should stay at home. Now, Kazpost employees carry pensions home. A staff of volunteers has been created on the basis of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan. They deliver food and medicine to the elderly and disabled. If you need help, call the call center at 109. Volunteers will not disregard your request.

«Quarantine implies complete self-isolation. The city will live by the new rules and they must be respected. Today, we are fighting an invisible enemy. These are temporary difficulties. If we are disciplined, then we will overcome these obstacles», — the head of the region concluded.
