Starting April 1, restrictive measures are introduced in North Kazakhstan region

We present to you the message of the akim of North Kazakhstan region Kumar Aksakalov:

Given the seriousness of the situation, we introduce restrictive measures from 00.00 hours on April 1, 2020.

Roadblocks in the main directions will be established around Petropavlovsk. Departure-entry will be allowed only if necessary. In addition to checking documents, questioning, sanitary and veterinary control will be carried out. The task of a checkpoint is to ensure movement only when necessary, to work, on business matters, to hospitals and so on.

***

In the districts of the region, quarantine posts on roads with the right to restrict movement are also strengthened. This means that residents can cross the boundaries of the districts only for a specific need. All other reasons, including family celebrations, should be limited.

The airport is already closed. Train tickets are on hold. The train station accepts only passengers who bought tickets before March 27.

These are no longer recommendations, but emergency requirements. These rules must be followed. The police will have the right to monitor the implementation of these rules.

It is important to understand that the more you are in society, the greater the risk is. Irresponsibility should not cost someone life or health.

Kindergartens will not work. Seniors over 65 are advised to stay at home. The restriction of appearance in public places is introduced, which is no more than 3 people with respect to the distance. Children should be only with adults.

Government agencies, hospitals, law enforcement agencies, utilities will work as usual. Other institutions and enterprises should transfer workers to the remote mode, if possible.

Catering points can work in food delivery mode. Bank branches and post offices need a clear planning of customer visits to avoid crowding. No more than 5 people must stand in lines. It is necessary to observe a distance of 2 meters.
