Large-scale road repairs began in Petropavl

Akim of the region Aidarbek Saparov and deputies of maslikhats checked the progress of road repairs along Gorkiy Street and the arrangement of a public garden along Brusilovskiy Street. The head of the region noted the need to speed up the process of road repair and improvement.

In general, it should be noted that in recent years there has been insufficient funding for street repairs in the regional center. For 5 years, about 300-400 million tenge was allocated for the repair of city roads. The main part of the funds went to the demolition of dilapidated housing.

This year, the leadership of the region decided to increase the amount of repair of city roads to 6 billion tenge. It is planned to cover more than 20 streets in the center, in the Rabochiy settlement, Podgora and the 20th microdistrict with medium and current repairs.

At the beginning of May, they started repairing 4 streets. Upon completion of the competitive procedures, the repair of other streets will also begin.
