A meeting on preparation for the sowing campaign was held under the chairmanship of the Akim off the region Aidarbek Saparov.
The head of the region noted that the main task is to achieve maximum return and bring the agricultural industry to a qualitative, new level of development.
In the conditions of modern scientific and technological progress, agricultural formations do not have the right to be content with the low results of their work. Today, many agricultural producers produce and grow crops using extensive and outdated technologies, using seeds with a low level of genetic potential. World experience in crop production shows a high result through the improvement of breeding work, the creation of new varieties with high yields, the efficient use of agricultural land, the introduction of resource-saving technologies and differentiated approaches.
“The Head of State set the task of timely and high-quality spring field work. The state has fulfilled all obligations to farmers. All necessary financial support measures are being taken. To date, the region is 100% ready for spring field work. Based on the results of today's meeting, I instruct the Department of Agriculture and Land Relations, akims of the districts, together with the agricultural formations of the region, to ensure the conduct of spring field work in compliance with agrotechnical measures, taking into account the scientific recommendations made at today's seminar, to take measures to preserve moisture reserves in the soil, that is in time to carry out the closure of moisture, sowing high-quality seeds, updating agricultural machinery, applying mineral fertilizers and carrying out protective measures. To ensure the preservation of the structure of sown areas, maintaining the previously taken pace of diversification and increasing the areas of fodder crops, potatoes, vegetables and buckwheat in order to fully saturate the market. I wish the farmers of the region favorable weather, successful spring field work and a good harvest,” the head of the region Aidarbek Saparov said.
