Message from North Kazakhstan Regional Electoral Commission

A meeting of the North Kazakhstan Regional Election Commission was held in Petropavl to consider the measures taken on the issues of energy supply, communications, security and protection at polling stations during the preparation and conduct of the extraordinary elections of deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan and maslikhats, scheduled for March 19, 2023.

The event was attended by representatives of the North Kazakhstan Police Department, the Department of Emergency Situations and the Department of Passenger Transport and Highways, the Department of Energy and Housing and Communal Services, as well as specialists from Sevkazenergo, SKREK, Kazakhtelecom. At the meeting, the authorized bodies were explained the importance of preventing issues that may arise on voting day, and a report on the work done was heard.

The chairmen of the territorial election commissions of the districts named after Gabit Musirepov, Zhambyl, Akzhar and Akkaiyn reported on the readiness of the precinct election commissions.
