Seminar-meeting for participants in electoral process

In the city of Petropavl, the Territorial Electoral Commission of the North Kazakhstan region held a seminar-meeting with the participation of employees of the DIP and the media. During the meeting, the specifics of organizing and conducting the election campaign of deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Maslikhats, scheduled for March 19, 2023, were explained.

Raikhan Tilekovna Abdrakhmanova, a member of the Territorial Election Commission of the North Kazakhstan region, explained to the audience the structure and functions of the election commission and noted the main requirements. Detailed information is provided on the introduction of a mixed electoral system, transparency, the activities of observers, and the stages of holding elections. She also noted the accreditation of public associations and non-profit organizations.

A member of the Territorial Election Commission Sagyndyk Mauguzin spoke about the information support of the elections, methods and features, conditions and mechanisms for financing the election campaign, as well as the conditions for publishing material and the procedure for conducting the election campaign.
