In 2023, amount for repair of city roads will increase by 10 times

“Today I took part in the meeting of the Akim of Petropavl in front of the population. The regional center plays a key role in the economic development of the region, so it is important for me to know what worries the citizens,” Aidarbek Saparov, Akim of the region, wrote on his social media page.

A lot of work has been done in the regional center. The city has changed markedly. However, there are problematic issues. Citizens are concerned about the condition of city roads. It should be noted that in 2023, 4.3 billion tenge will be allocated from the regional budget to repair the road. This is almost 10 times more than this year. Repair will cover 17 streets of the regional center. Note that the projects are biennial.

There is a lot of work to be done next year. In the city, all passing budget projects are supported by us. Also, the funds will be directed to the improvement, lighting the outskirts of the city, the demolition of dilapidated housing. We need to attract more private developers and build commercial housing.
