New MRI launched in Children's hospital of NKR

In Petropavl, a modern MRI machine has been installed in a Multidisciplinary Children's Regional Hospital. During the visit to the Children's Hospital, Akim of the region Aidarbek Saparov was shown the operation of the new machine.

It should be noted that this is the first MRI machine installed in a children's hospital. Now little patients do not need to travel to other medical facilities and stand in line for an MRI examination.

Also this year, a new CT scanner, operating unit and rehabilitation equipment were installed in the children's hospital.

“We are doing all this so that our children can receive quality treatment,” the head of the region said.

In the regional hospital for adults this year, 1.6 thousand children underwent MRI examinations. The capacity of the new MRI in the Children's Hospital is 4,000 examinations per year.
