The akim of NKR urged North Kazakhstani citizens to abstain from foreign trips

In NKR, work is being done to prevent the appearance of coronavirus. They have strengthened control at border crossing points. The foreigners being in Kazakhstan are under observation.

Additional funds have been allocated from the regional budget to provide medical facilities with medicines.

Kumar Aksakalov called on North Kazakhstani citizens to adhere to elementary hygiene rules at home, at work and in crowded places, to protect their health and, if they have symptoms of a cold, go to hospitals.

«I urge to abstain from traveling abroad, especially to those countries where coronavirus is found. Think twice whether it is worth endangering your family, your children. The countries where the infection exists are known, these are the states of Southeast Asia», — the head of the region said.

To date, medical institutions have developed an algorithm of actions in case of detection of patients infected with coronavirus.
