Akim of NKR congratulated NKU on 85th anniversary

The head of the region Aidarbek Saparov congratulated and took part in the solemn meeting on the occasion of the 85th anniversary of the M. Kozybayev North Kazakhstan University.

Akim of the region noted that the university is one of the leading universities in the country and the main forge of personnel in the region.

On behalf of the President, work is underway in the country to open at least 5 branches of reputable foreign universities. As part of this mandate, a double-degree study program was launched jointly with the University of Arizona. This year, 155 students from different cities are studying. Another 500 special education grants will be awarded next year.

“A new educational and laboratory building has been built, and we are also building student dormitories. We will create an international-level student campus, support talented teachers and students, and send them to study and study abroad,” Aidarbek Saparov said.
