“I acquainted the youth with the start of the implementation of two investment projects: an enterprise for the production of chipboard and a plant for light steel thin-walled structures, since we are creating new jobs for them,” Kumar Aksakalov, Akim of the North Kazakhstan region, wrote on his social media page.
Chipboard plant
This is the second project of the Turkish investor. Last year, when the plywood mill was launched, 160 people worked here, now there are already 300. An additional 300 jobs will be created in the new chipboard plant. The area of the plant is 25 thousand sq.m. 8 billion tenge will be invested. They will install modern equipment from Turkey and China. The new plant will produce 50,000 cubic meters of chipboard. Thus, we will get a large woodworking cluster.
LGSF
An equally important project is a plant for light gauge steel framing. The new enterprise will produce prefabricated metal structures for the construction of buildings. This will solve the issue of logistics and transportation of components, which in turn will reduce the time and cost of building facilities. For example, the construction of a dairy farm lasts up to 2 years, with the commissioning of a new plant, the construction period will be reduced to one season. Investors plan to invest 2 billion tenge. The project is located on the territory of the Qyzyljar SEZ, the state will help with the infrastructure. 30 permanent jobs will be created.
