The head of the region, Kumar Aksakalov, at a meeting of the akimat noted that the cutting down of trees near Petropavl is an egregious case.

The history of this land plot has been going on for 16 years. It should be noted that the owner of this site did not have the right to cut down trees. Since the entrepreneur did not receive a permit for felling in the housing and communal services department of the city akimat.

According to the master plan, the land plot is located in the estate development zone and birch pegs are provided there. Preliminary damage - 41 million tenge.

The police of Petropavlovsk opened a criminal case on the fact of cutting down trees, and an investigation is underway.

“We need to thoroughly check everything, the legality of all actions. In addition, it is necessary to conduct an audit of land plots where there are green spaces so that such cases do not happen again,” Kumar Aksakalov noted.
