Today the North Kazakhstan region was visited by the Head of the CLAAS company Cathrina Claas-Muehlhaeuser.
“During the bilateral meeting, we discussed further prospects for the development of an enterprise for the assembly of agricultural machinery and measures for the localization of components and spare parts,” Kumar Aksakalov, Akim of the North Kazakhstan region, wrote on his social media page.
It should be noted that the arrival of the company's management in Petropavl indicates a serious attention to this project. Negotiations with the management of CLAAS began in 2017. A significant impetus in the implementation of the project was the arrival in Germany in 2019 of the President of the country, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, and a meeting with Cathrina Claas.
On the territory of the enterprise, a meeting of agricultural producers from all over the country with the first persons of CLAAS was held. The participants were introduced to the production site, and also presented the equipment manufactured at the enterprise: a new range of CLAAS TRION combine harvesters, powerful CLAAS XERION tractors, as well as HORSCH Sprinter sowing complexes.
CLAAS is the world's leading manufacturer of agricultural machinery. Kazakh farmers have appreciated the quality of the equipment. The most striking example is the CLAAS Dominator combine, which has been working in the fields of North Kazakhstan region for 30 years. In 1992, this combine was acquired by Askhat Agro LLP. During the operation, he worked for more than 12 thousand hours, and is still in service. Record threshing - 1700 tons per season. This quality of technology is the best advertisement.
“Our task is to provide agricultural producers with high-quality and high-performance equipment so that the price is below the market. This is necessary in order for farmers to sow and harvest crops in the optimal time. The park is worn out. It is impossible to develop agriculture without a significant upgrade of technology. As an agricultural engineer, I am well aware of this,” Kumar Aksakalov said.
Today combines and tractors of the German company are in great demand. At the same time, the price of agricultural machinery was reduced to 27%. Last year, the enterprise assembled 92 units of equipment, and this year more than 300. The plan for the next year is 500 units of equipment.
