In NKR, more than half of the budget will be directed to the social sphere

This year, the budget of NKR amounted to 262 billion tenge, of which 55% will be directed to the social sphere. That was stated by the akim of North Kazakhstan region Kumar Aksakalov at the reporting meeting in front of the population.

The issue of the lack of teachers was practically resolved in NKR. For two years, 1272 teachers have arrived, 676 of them came last year. 315 young specialists arrived in the region.

Last year, 142 educational facilities were overhauled. This year, there are plans for 60 schools, of which 46 are rural. 3 billion tenge have been allocated for these purposes.

Three schools are under construction in the region. An autism center and 3 inclusion cabinets were opened in the city’s schools and in district centers. 1.3 billion tenge will be allocated for updating 4 colleges. The akim of the region also touched upon the topic of school buses.

«Over the years, the fleet of schools has not been updated and has become unusable. The need was 44 buses. This year we will completely solve this issue. We will also provide schools and kindergartens with video surveillance», — Kumar Aksakalov said.

The measures taken can improve the learning environment, which accordingly affected the quality of knowledge. In 2019, 2,290 out of 3,327 graduates enrolled in universities. 1,451 North Kazakhstani graduates became grant holders, which is 74.3%. This is 15.2% higher than last year. If in 2018 the number of applicants to Kazakhstani universities increased 1.7 times, then in 2019 by 2 times. Thus, the outflow of school graduates over 3 years decreased from 30% to 13%.

Over the past 3 years, financing of the healthcare sector has increased by 60% to 42.2 billion tenge. 2.8 billion tenge was allocated for updating medical equipment, which is 3 times more than over previous years. They purchased modern MRI, CT, digital angiographs and mammographs. 3 modern reanimobiles of Mercedes and 17 units of ambulance transport for regional hospitals were purchased for ambulance. Of the 132 units purchased, 40% was sent to the village. Last year, 108 doctors were involved, of which 53 were sent to villages. Each doctor was paid a lifting allowance of 1.5 million tenge.

«The development of medicine remains a priority for us. This year, we will continue creating conditions for attracting staff and equip it with modern equipment. Thus, 2 additional MRI devices will be purchased at the regional children’s hospital and at the oncology center, and the angiograph in the regional hospital. Next year, 2 CT units will be delivered to the Multidisciplinary City Hospital and G. Musrepov District Hospital», — Kumar Aksakalov said.

Also, the implementation of socially significant objects has begun in the region. This is the construction of a modern multidisciplinary hospital, an educational and laboratory building for the university and educational buildings for the military institute.

«Starting this year, we begin training our doctors in the best international clinics, which will continue to work in the new hospital. In total, we plan to train 200 specialists», — Kumar Aksakalov concluded.
