The akim of NKR shared plans for the development of Petropavlovsk

The head of the region Kumar Aksakalov took part in the reporting meeting of the akim of Petropavlovsk Bulat Zhumabekov with the population. Residents listened to the report of the akim on achievements for 2019, and were also able to ask their questions.

The budget of the regional center is increasing annually. So, compared to 2018 this year, Petropavlovsk will receive twice as much money, i.e. 44.7 billion tenge.

An problematic issue was land acquisition. The number of apartment buildings is growing every year, housing queues are declining. Meanwhile, there are many private buildings within the city.

«We will continue to develop the micro-districts «Bereke», «Zhas Orken», Ualikhanov Street. There will be a demolition in Kopay. Money from the regional budget is planned to design this microdistrict. Everything will be in a single architectural style», — Kumar Aksakalov emphasized.

The meeting also paid attention to the improvement of courtyards, house territories and playgrounds. Kumar Aksakalov noted that iron fences carry a lot of shortcomings: «Garbage accumulates behind fences and garbage piles appear. Often, people with no fixed abode find refuge there. This is a violation of all sanitary standards. It’s better to plant trees and shrubs, they will give the yards an aesthetic look».

It is also planned to purchase modern buses this year. In addition, mini-stadiums will be opened in the outskirts of Petropavlovsk.
