In April of this year, Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev signed a Decree on debureaucratization of the state machinery. One of the measures is to halve the number of consultative and advisory bodies (CABs) under the Government, central and local executive bodies.
Within the framework of this order, the Akimat of the North Kazakhstan region conducted an audit of permanent CAB, following which a decision was made to optimize and reduce them. Thus, only 17 of the 33 existing CAbs will continue to work.
