3 thousand apartments will be commissioned in NKR in 2020

At a meeting of the akimat of NKR, the issue of housing construction was discussed. In 2019, the pace of its construction is much higher than in the past. Thus, 2068 apartments were commissioned in 2018, which is about 200 thousand square meters. The result of this year will be the completion of the construction of 2240 apartments, with an area of 235 thousand square meters. The plans for 2020 are building 2842 apartments with a total area of 254 thousand square meters. According to the akim of the region, favorable financial opportunities and constantly growing demand for housing may well increase this figure to 3,000.

By the way, compared with last year, the demand for mortgage housing increased by 32%. According to the program «7-20-25», 701 applications were accepted in the region. Of these, 468 requests have already been approved.

«For socially vulnerable segments of the population, 482 apartments have been built, of which 124 apartments, that is, 30% of the housing, we distribute for large families. Thus, within 3 years, we will solve the housing problem for this category of citizens», — Kumar Aksakalov said.
