In 2022, the production of bioethanol will increase by 2.5 times

"Today, together with the public, we inspected the work of the Bio operations plant, the pig farm and the EMC agro meat processing plant. All three enterprises completed 2021 with a positive result and transferred about 1 billion tenge of taxes and all obligatory payments to the budget," the head of the region wrote.

The "Bio operations" plant produced 3,000 tons of bioethanol last year, this year they are increasing production by 2.5 times. Also, 6 thousand tons of gluten and 23 thousand tons of starch were produced, their volume will also increase significantly. More than 500 people work at this plant alone.

Last year, new buildings of the pig complex were built, the capacity increased from 50 thousand to 100 thousand heads. The complex employs 180 people. A project has been developed to expand to 200 thousand heads. Construction work will begin in the spring.

The meat-packing plant provided jobs for 132 people. Up to 1.5 tons of sausages and semi-finished products are produced daily.

"The company will continue to increase its turnover, as it is necessary to replace imported goods. Today in Kazakhstan, the provision of sausage products is 68%. That is, 32% of sausage products are imported from other countries. Work to increase the share of meat processing will be continued," the akim of the region added.
