Access to drinking water is a pressing issue for our residents. In the region for 5 years, water has been supplied and improved in 250 villages, where 180 thousand people live. Over 1,000 km of networks have been restored and built. 6.5 thousand families brought water to the house.
This year, the amount of funding has been increased and brought to 12.3 billion tenge. Over 2,000 rural houses will be able to connect to the central water supply.
"We will carry out the reconstruction of networks and the construction of a new water pipeline in 55 villages of the region. Of these, 18 villages did not have water supply networks before. Some localities require replacement of worn pipes. For example, in the village of Yakor, as promised, we will reconstruct the networks. As in the past year, we will install as many wells as possible at the expense of the budget in the villages so that the villagers can bring water to their homes at minimal cost. I also call on farmers to provide financial assistance to residents in carrying out these works," the head of the region wrote.
