16 million trees were planted in NKR in 5 years

Every year the fleet of forestry institutions is replenished with new equipment. Over the past four years, 420 million tenge has been allocated for renewal. Purchased 29 units of fire trucks, tractors and vehicles for patrolling. Equipping with special equipment increased by 14%.

"All this work being done is aimed at preserving and increasing our forest wealth. Over the past 5 years, 16 million trees have been planted in the region. This is 2 times more than the number of trees cut down. The Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, instructed to carry out a large-scale landscaping throughout the country, 2 billion trees will be planted in 5 years. We plan to plant 100 million seedlings in our region," the head of the region wrote.
