Akim of NKR praised the young businessman who moved to the village

Akim of NKR met with representatives of small and medium-sized businesses. The meeting discussed mechanisms for supporting SMEs and entrepreneurship problems. North Kazakhstan businessmen spoke about their projects and shared their experience.

"Young businessman Yevgeniy Zolotarev inspired those present with his success story. 6 years ago, a city guy left for the village and changed his life thanks to hard work and government support. In the area of ​​M. Zhumabayev, he opened his own business of growing vegetables: cabbage, cucumbers, tomatoes and even watermelons. Since last year it has been supplying cabbage to the stabilization fund. He plans to receive a grant for the construction of a year-round greenhouse. A good example for others," the head of the region wrote on his page in social networks.

In the region, more than 2.8 thousand people received soft loans and grants for starting and developing a business. 790 unemployed and self-employed people have started their own businesses, mostly villagers. Government support measures for business are yielding results. The output of SMEs for 5 years has doubled, from 374 billion tenge to 776 billion tenge. In general, tax revenues in the region increased 1.6 times, up to 60 billion tenge. This year it is expected - 67 billion tenge. In the revenues of the region's budget, the share of taxes from SMEs increased from 49% to 61%.
