7 modern fire trucks will go to the districts of NKR

At the meeting of the regional akimat, the issue of fire safety during the heating season was discussed.

For four years, the North Kazakhstan region has acquired 29 units of fire fighting equipment. This year, 8 modern machines have been purchased, 7 of which will be sent to the districts. They have an increased volume of tanks. One such machine can replace two standard ones.

In rural areas, 42 fire posts have been created, which are concentrated in remote settlements.

It should be noted that in microdistricts, where new apartment complexes appear in place of private houses, the number of fires is significantly reduced. Thus, over 5 years in the Zhas Orken microdistrict, the number of fires has decreased by 2.5 times.

The head of the region drew attention to the fact that often the cause of fires is the improper operation of the gas supply system. An example of this is the explosion that occurred last winter in one of the hostels in Petropavl. After this situation, all houses subject to gasification were examined. Corresponding repair work will be carried out.

"It is necessary to monitor entrepreneurs who use gas cylinders at catering points. Violators should be fined. Emergencies should not be allowed. It is necessary to explain more and talk about the observance of elementary fire safety rules. Nothing should threaten people's lives," Kumar Aksakalov summed up.
