Akim of North Kazakhstan region appealed to grandparents

The head of the region called on the residents of the region to protect themselves and their loved ones and to join the campaign for universal vaccination against coronavirus.

Now the situation in the region is not easy. Hundreds of new cases of infection are detected every day in NKR. Kumar Aksakalov emphasized that almost all patients are unvaccinated citizens. At the moment, 120 thousand adults have not yet been vaccinated in the region.

Elderly people are at risk. They are also the main part of patients in infectious diseases hospitals. Today, only 21% of pensioners have vaccination passports. Akim of the region noted that children need to take care of their parents, it is necessary to convey to them the correct information about vaccination.

"I believe that among 120 thousand unvaccinated people there are many conscious and responsible people. I was vaccinated, my family too. It is safe and effective. My words will be confirmed by 250 thousand North Kazakhstanis, who also were vaccinated," Kumar Aksakalov said.
