At the meeting of the akimat, the progress of the population census was discussed

A regular meeting of the Akimat of the NKR took place today. The agenda was the census of the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The national census started on September 1. During the years of independence, this is the third campaign.

"Based on its results, the state will have updated data on the demographic, economic and social spheres. Thus, it will be possible to analyze trends, outline points for development. The analysis will become the basis for further planning of the economy, development and adjustment of state programs and projects," the Akim of North Kazakhstan region Kumar Aksakalov said.

This year, the census is being carried out using digital technology and process automation. To date, 17% of the population has passed the online census.

Kumar Aksakalov instructed to observe all security measures, train interviewers, and provide material and technical equipment. Also, the head of the region called on residents of the region to take an active part in the national population census.
