Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited the Petropavl Electrotechnical Plant "Alageum Electric"
Within the framework of a working trip to the North Kazakhstan region, the President got acquainted with the work of the Petropavl Electrotechnical Plant "Alageum Electric".
The head of state was shown the technological line for the production of transformers, told about measures of social support for workers and plans for further expansion of production.
The total amount of the investment project for the construction of the plant is 10 billion tenge. It is planned that the design capacity of the production will be 13 thousand transformers per year. At the same time, 98% of the manufactured products will be exported to the CIS countries.
Employees of the enterprise, including migrants from the southern regions of the country, have the opportunity to receive affordable housing. Trainees are provided with conditions for training and subsequent employment.
The visit was completed by a conversation with the labor collective. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev highly appreciated the work of the enterprise and its export potential. The President expressed confidence that the plant will continue its successful development, noting that the Government will continue to provide all-round assistance to domestic producers.
