A new school with a capacity of 900 seats was opened in North Kazakhstan region

The akim of North Kazakhstan region Kumar Aksakalov announced that on his page in social networks.

“It is a good gift for children for the day of knowledge. Today, a modern school for 900 pupils has opened in Petropavlovsk. A new educational institution on Ualikhanov Street will unload 3 schools in this microdistrict and create comfortable conditions for children and teachers,” — the head of the region wrote.

There is a demand for new schools, because the number of students in the region is growing every year. This year, 75 thousand children went to school, which is 3 thousand more than in 2020.

“This is the fourth school built in the region in recent years. We will start building two rural schools. A school for 1200 places and a correctional boarding school for special children will appear in the regional center. In general, within the framework of the comprehensive plan, it is planned to build 16 new schools throughout the coming years,” — Kumar Aksakalov added.

The new school is located in the new microdistrict “Ortalyk.” The prospects for this microdistrict are great. In place of old and dilapidated houses, new high-rise buildings are growing, a kindergarten will be built. Ualikhanov Street is expanding. The new sports palace for 3 thousand seats will become a decoration of the microdistrict. A new park will be built near the sports facility, which will become a place of attraction for the townspeople.
