A large repair campaign in Petropavlovsk, which began in the spring, is nearing completion. The development of the regional economy allows us to allocate large funds from the regional budget for the city treasury.
Over the past 5 years, the budget of the regional center has grown from 37 billion to 67 billion tenge, that is, 1.8 times. Due to this, a lot of work is being done to improve the city. For 5 years, about 7 billion tenge has been allocated for improvement. These funds were used to repair courtyards, install playgrounds and sports grounds, equip squares, free parking lots and sidewalks.
“For four years, 386 courtyards have been repaired in the city. This year, we have planned to repair 60 more but in fact we have made repairs in 78 courtyards. To 261 new playgrounds, 60 more play areas will be added this year. Due to the high demand, this year, we have resumed the program of modernization of housing and communal services. 14 high-rise buildings will be overhauled in the city. New elevators will appear in 8 high-rise buildings,” — the head of the region wrote.
