A dairy in North Kazakhstan region modernized and launched new lines

The akim of North Kazakhstan region Kumar Aksakalov wrote about that on his page in social networks.

The Dairy Plant “Maslodel” has carried out a major modernization in the amount of 4.8 billion tenge and expanded its production. Today, we launched new lines for the production of milk, sour cream and fermented milk products. The capacity of the enterprise has increased from 87 to 119 thousand tons per year. We have installed modern Swedish equipment "Tetra Pak", which will allow the production of 15 new types of dairy products. Additionally, 85 new jobs have been created,” — the head of the region wrote.

Dairy production is a profitable business, it gives the villagers constant and year-round work. More than 400 permanent jobs have been created in the dairy industry of the region over 5 years. More than 500 million tenge of taxes come to the budget annually.

“Every year, we are increasing the processing turnover. Last year, the region produced almost 600 thousand tons of milk. For five years, the share of milk processing has grown from 34% to 53%, or from 180 thousand to 319 thousand tons. Our dairy factories are consistently supplied with raw materials. We have already opened 12 dairy farms. We are building 16 more dairy complexes, 10 of which we will launch by the end of the year,” — the akim of the North Kazakhstan region added.
