A new sports and recreation complex was opened in North Kazakhstan region

“Today, on July 23, the opening ceremony of the Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo took place. This is a significant event for the whole world, for hundreds of athletes and millions of fans. It is gratifying that the national team of our country included four North Kazakhstanis: cyclists Alexei Lutsenko and Artyom Zakharov, athletes Irina Ektova and Mikhail Litvin. I will closely follow the competitions and wish our athletes to take prizes. ⠀

It is symbolic that it was on this day that a new health and fitness complex “Kuleke Batyr” was opened in Sergeyevka. The SRC has a sports hall for team sports, as well as a gym and fitness room. A place for playing ping pong is equipped. Comfortable and safe viewing stands have been created for the fans, from which it is convenient to follow the competitions. ⠀

On behalf of the President, we are building sports facilities in every regional center. Now, we are building sports facilities in Akkaiyn, Timiryazevo, Aiyrtau, Yesil and Zhambyl districts. The opening of sports and recreation centers will help our children to reveal their sports potential," – the akim of North Kazakhstan region Kumar Aksakalov wrote on his page in social networks.
