The akim of North Kazakhstan region Kumar Aksakalov wrote about that on his social media page.
“Today, a new MRI machine has been launched at the oncology center, which will operate around the clock. From 8 a.m. to 5 a.m., in three shifts. This will significantly reduce the waiting list for MRI examinations,” — the head of the region wrote.
Now, there are 3 MRI machines in the region. As part of the new comprehensive plan, it is planned to purchase 2 more MRIs for the city’s multidisciplinary hospital and the regional children’s hospital.
“Thus, we will be able to completely cover the needs of the region,” — Kumar Aksakalov added.
Six computer tomographs have been installed in the NKR hospitals. This year, 2 more CT systems are being purchased for a multidisciplinary city hospital and a regional children’s hospital.
