The akim of North Kazakhstan region met with representatives of the University of Arizona

NKR should become attractive for young people from all over Kazakhstan. What is being done for this? NKSU named after M. Kozybayev is being modernized, educational buildings will be repaired, and the construction of two more dormitories for 1200 places has begun. By the end of the year, a modern educational and laboratory building will open, where 73 advanced laboratories will be installed. There will also be a new university similar to Nazarbayev University in Petropavlovsk.

A meeting with the American delegation took place today. Following the talks, representatives of the American university announced their readiness to cooperate with the North Kazakhstan university. The issue of transferring our higher educational institution to the trust management of the University of Arizona is under consideration. This approach will bear fruit because the University of Arizona has a quality educational program and advanced technologies. Arizona is ranked in the top 100 best universities in the world. They have three Nobel Prize winners and collaborate with NASA. Our students and teachers will benefit from the rich experience and knowledge of the American university. Our youth will have an excellent opportunity for educational exchange with an overseas educational institution”, — the akim of the region Kumar Aksakalov wrote on his page in social networks.
