Akim of North Kazakhstan region reacted to the post in social networks about the closed park

Recently, there was an appeal from a resident of Petropavlovsk in social networks that the square behind the Kazakh Theater named after Mukanov was inaccessible to the population. The akim of North Kazakhstan region Kumar Aksakalov supported the proposal of the city resident.

“Through social networks, I received proposals for the improvement of the territory near the Kazakh Theater named after S. Mukanov. This is a good and useful initiative, we support that. This year, benches will be installed here, trees will be planted, walking paths will appear. A start has been made: the fences around the park have already been removed. A voluntary Saturday work has been held here today. Literally in a few months, we will see a large square at this place, with an area of one hectare, which will become a favorite resting place for people living nearby,” — the head of the region wrote on his social media account.

Last year, 5 new squares were laid out in the city, 7 more will appear in different parts of the regional center this year. The reconstruction of the central park will be completed. Improvement of Brusilovsky Street will continue. It will be expanded and decorated in the same style between Pushkin and Bulavsky streets. Zhukov Street will sparkle with new colors and have a new look. They will make a beautiful alley there. A park for children will be arranged near the puppet theater. Also, squares will appear next to the new Kazakh theater and along Altynsarin street.

“I would also like to dwell on the improvement of the adjoining territories. For 4 years, about 400 yards have been asphalted. This year, we have planned to put 82 local areas in order. We equipped 45 free parking lots for car owners in 2020, we will build 47 more this year. All this work leads to the creation of a favorable urban environment for every resident of Petropavlovsk,” — summed up Kumar Aksakalov.
