Honoring the two-time Asian champion

The head of the region, Kumar Aksakalov, met with the two-time Asian champion in freestyle wrestling Nurkozha Kaipanov. The wrestler, starting with victories on the local stage, quickly reached heights on the world sports arena. With his victories, Nurkozha Kaipanov glorified not only the whole of Kazakhstan, but also his small homeland. Today, the athlete was solemnly honored in the regional akimat. It is worth noting that Nurkozha Kaipanov is the first athlete in the history of the region to have won the "gold of Asia" twice.
