The akim of the region Kumar Aksakalov congratulated the North Kazakhstan volleyball club "Yesil-SK" on winning bronze medals of the Championship of Kazakhstan.

“Bronze is worth its weight in gold! Our volleyball team "Yesil-SK" has been playing in the National League for 15 years. They walked long and hard to success. For the first time in their history, our volleyball players entered the top three volleyball clubs in the country. Recently, local female volleyball players have achieved the same success. These are not accidental victories. The sporting achievements of the people of North Kazakhstan are a regularity. Our efforts to develop volleyball are paying off. The backbone of "Yesil-SK" is staffed with homegrown volleyball players. In the region, over 1 thousand children learn the basics of volleyball. There are a lot of talented guys, two local volleyball players are in the national team. Big victories are yet to come,” — the head of the region wrote on his social media account.
