Petropavlovsk should become compact and convenient for residents and combine all the qualities of a modern regional center. Work in this direction begins with putting in order the yard areas. Last year, 7 new public gardens appeared, the lighting of 10 streets was improved.

Modernization of apartment buildings is planned this year. Roofs will be repaired in 35 queuing houses. Also, for the first time, funds have been allocated for the replacement of elevators in 8 houses.

Construction will continue in three promising districts of the city: "Zhas Orken", "Bereke" and along Ualikhanov street. There are also plans to build up "Kopai" and "Naberezhny" microdistricts.

Meanwhile, the problem of public transport has not yet found its solution.
