100 new buses are purchased in North Kazakhstan region: the first batch has arrived

The akim of North Kazakhstan region Kumar Aksakalov announced that on his page.

“As planned, we have launched a project to update the bus fleet in Petropavlovsk. There are about 200 buses in the city. We will replace half of them with new ones. We are purchasing 100 comfortable buses assembled in Kazakhstan. Today, 7 such cars have already arrived in Petropavlovsk,” — the head of the region wrote.

The buses are comfortable, roomy and warm.

Taking into account the northern climate, the bus is equipped with 6 heating radiators. Air conditioners and a ramp are installed. A purification system and UV lamps for air disinfection are built-in.

“By the way, the cost of public transport will not rise. In addition, the tariffs for heat and electricity for the population have remained at the same level since the new year,” — the akim of the region noted.

An electronic ticketing system is also being introduced for transparent passenger accounting.
